How to decorate easter baskets?

One of the most loved Easter decorations is the traditional Easter basket. Decorating an Easter basket with your family and friends is such a fun activity to do at this time of the year. When looking for Easter basket ideas you should let your imagination run wild! You can be as unique and creative as you like when deciding on your Easter basket craft ideas. Start by choosing the basket you want to use as your base. Traditionally, woven wicker baskets with handles are used as Easter baskets. However, if you’re looking for something a little different, a tin basket or bucket is also a good option. Now select some of your favourite craft items to dress your basket with. Remember that bright pastel colours work best for Easter décor. Some of our favourite craft items include artificial flowers & greenery, cotton ribbons, decorative Easter eggs, flocked bunny heads, and soft toys. You can also add some shredded paper at the bottom of the basket to help prop up any Easter décor you want to display in your basket. To decorate, take your artificial flowers & greenery and secure them around the handle and rim of your basket using binding wire. You can position the flowers & greenery along the entire handle or cluster them to one side. Just remember to leave enough room to hold the basket if you wish to carry it. Next, take your ribbon and tie two bows on either side of the basket where the handle meets the base. Fill the base of your basket with some shredded paper and arrange your decorative eggs, bunnies, and soft toys inside the basket.

How to decorate your easter table?

If your planning to host a special Easter brunch, then a charming Easter table display is a must. Your table will act as the centrepiece of your party. However, your Easter decorations don’t have to be over the top or complex to make an impact. Simple table decorations for Easter with a cohesive colour palette can be just as effective. Start dressing your table with an Easter table runner made from linen or lace fabrics. If you want to get a bit inventive you can run squares of artificial moss down the centre of the table to look like a lush field. Then put your placemats and dinnerware on the table so you know how much room you have left to decorate. The first piece of Easter table décor you should position on your table should be your centrepieces. These can consist of Easter wreaths or garlands. You can add some pillar candles or bouquets of artificial flowers to the centre of your Easter wreath to add to this centrepiece. Finally scatter some fun Easter décor along your table to fill in the empty spaces, like decorative Easter eggs or flocked bunnies.
