Wedding Backdrop Frames

Party backdrop stands are popular, and there are a number of ways to set them up with decorations:
 

• When choosing your decorating materials, try and stick to your chosen theme and colour palette, such as a white and gold bridal shower or a rainbow pride party. 
• To create an effective background for photos and a focal point for festivities, it can be helpful to make your backdrop seem bigger and more noticeable. 
• A popular and simple way of achieving this is to attach some kind of cover. This can be achieved by the use of a pre-fabricated cover, or by clamping a large piece of fabric to your backdrop frame stand. 
• For a splash of fun, inflate and assemble a balloon garland in complementary to your backdrop. You can clamp or tie your garland from behind, onto your frame (and over your cover). This type of balloon decoration tends to work best with the smooth angles of a circular or arch backdrop frame. 
• A personalised acrylic laser cut sign can be expensive to source but can be so effective as a finishing touch (plus, it can later be used as a decoration at home!).
• These acrylic signs are lightweight and as such, can be hung with fishing line from your frame, or attached with velcro and/or command strips directly to your fabric cover.
• If your background stand feels a little wobbly or is exposed to some wind, it’s a good rule of thumb to lay it down with a weight, like a sandbag, at the base for stability.

• Choose sturdy materials that are strong, and can support the weight of the backdrop, i.e. our products come with a sturdy footing at the base.
• Be mindful about the weight of the decorations, i.e. hanging a disco ball can take some planning as you need to make sure your ball is not going to be too heavy for your backdrop stand to support. Instead, using a cluster of smaller disco balls is a safer option that can create an amazing effect.
• Use ropes or cables for additional stability. For e.g. smaller disco balls can be hung with strong S hooks, and additionally secured with cable ties. Adding a heavy weight to the base can also counter the weight of the disco balls.

Using flowers is a great way to make wedding backdrop frames stand out, and it's important to choose a variety of sizes, shapes, and textures. Consider your theme and colour scheme when selecting flowers. You can use tools like floral foam, chicken wire, cable ties, and water vials to help your arrangement come together.

For example, caged and soaked floral foam keeps fresh flowers hydrated, and can be easily secured to your background stand with cable ties. Use linear flowers to establish shape and height, foliage to add contrast, and focal and secondary flowers to draw attention. Fill in any gaps with smaller filler flowers. Similarly, decorations such as fairy lights can also be attached to the frames. With these simple tips, you can easily hang stunning backdrops for your event.
