Use this kit with artificial flowers or moisten the floral foam for use with fresh-cut flowers. The plastic insert protects the base from moisture. When moistening, take care not to oversaturate the foam, as the top insert and box is made of thick cardboard and could get wet. Wrapping the foam can help prevent any leakage into the top tray.
