How to Design & Order Customised Ribbon and Wrapping From Koch & Co

• Keep it simple: Too much detail may not print well on some materials.
• Get the message across: Know the message you want your brand to convey.
• What colour will the logo be? Choose logo colours that suit the material you’re printing on.
• Ensure the design works across different packaging sizes: E.g. smaller logos for ribbon vs. wrapping paper.

• What size should my logo or business name be?
• How often should my logo repeat?
• What spacing should be between each logo?
• Should the logo be randomly or evenly spaced?

Remember: Simple logo designs are easier to print on small items like stickers.

• Custom Ribbon:
  When creating custom ribbon, consider the size and spacing of your logo and whether it needs adjusting. For example, on 25mm ribbon, you may need to resize your logo to 15mm and decide how often it repeats per metre. To test this, mark your preferred ribbon with a fabric marker to trial different sizes and spacing.
• Custom Wrapping:
  When designing custom wrapping, consider the sheet size (standard is 50cm x 70cm), your logo size, whether you want additional designs, how often the logo repeats, and if it’s in a geometric or random pattern. To test this, sketch your design on paper, then wrap a sample item (e.g., a flower bouquet) to see where the logo sits.

Once you know what you want, you can engage a graphic designer. If you already have a logo, we can often help with the product design.

Once you’ve chosen the material, design, and spacing, we can help with the technical details.

• What products are already available on the market

• Step 3: Our design team will create draft artwork of your logo to fit the chosen material (e.g., 25mm ribbon). A physical sample can be made for an extra cost.
• Step 4: Once you approve the design and confirm your order, your personalised ribbon or wrapping will be manufactured and shipped.
