3 Creative Themes For Christmas Table Centrepieces

2015 Trends for Decor & Christmas Table Centrepieces

Christmas table centrepieces and displays are the perfect excuse to unleash your creativity and really embrace a theme and colour story. At Koch we’ve put together five collections based on the themes of gold glamour, natural accents, silver splendour, traditional Christmas and white Christmas. All of these can be browsed through our occasions page on the website, making pulling together a theme a breeze. Of course you can mix and match between themes, white and silver pair beautifully, as does our natural and traditional Christmas selections.

To help kick start your own table centrepiece or display we’ve come up with a few ideas here to help you add some country charm, metallic glamour or a natural Christmas look to this year’s Christmas displays. And to make it even easier – we’ve created moodboards for the key pieces you’ll need.

Gold Glamour

Push the party boat out with this glamorous look for a Christmas event or display, starting with lots of layers of soft pinks and golds. It’s a different take on traditional Christmas decor, and we think this colour combination would also make a great jumping off point for a Christmas wedding theme. Add in some LED Christmas lights and plenty of soy wax candles to create an even more glamorous, celebratory look. You can even mix it up by adding some of the best scented candles Australia offers with Koch soy wax candles!

Natural Christmas

Add a rural touch to your festive fun with a scheme based around mini Christmas trees, branches, natural sticks and pine cones, for plenty of texture and interest. You can recreate this Christmas centrepiece by adding in orange soy wax candles, green glass vases (or green small glass bottles) with wild flowers and Christmas berries, displayed on a bed of preserved moss for a winter wonderland feel. This look is magical, so it’s tempting to add some little Xmas characters poking through the foliage, like our range of reindeers or wooden owls!

Festive Country Christmas

One Christmas decor trend that’s been gaining momentum is a country Christmas look, with influences from Scandinavian décor. You can grab pieces from across the range for this look, from traditional Christmas decorations to more modern designs – just commit to a red, white and green theme, and add in key country pieces like gingham animals and crafted wood ornaments. Mix gingham Christmas owls and reindeer decorations with natural barrel baskets or sleighs for a really charming display. For table centrepieces add in a berry garland, and some country checkered gift bags to match as favours. We also love to layer in wooden Christmas decorations to emphasise the country feel, their natural tones work really well with a crisp red and white colour theme to really pull this look together.
