1. What types of cello bags can you purchase?
There are two types of cello bags you can purchase. The first is a self-sealing resealable cello bags with an adhesive strip, and the second is a plain cello bags with no self-seal.
2. What are self-sealing cello bags?
Self-sealing cello bags are bags that already have a resealable adhesive strip that will seal the bag. Just peel off the adhesive protection and seal. Save time tying or using sticky tape to seal your bag.
3. Do you sell self-seal cello bags?
Yes. You can choose our self-sealing resealable cello bags that can be used to protect your cards, artwork, and advertising material. These bags have a peel to seal adhesive strip on the top of the bag.
4. Do you sell cello bags without the resealable sticky seal?
Yes. Plain cello bags without the resealable edge are very popular for storing confectionery, biscuits, cakes, and other products. These types of cello bags allow you to scrunch the top and add attractive embellishments like ribbon. Alternatively, you can cut the sticky seal off the self-seal bags to make plain bags if this is better suited to your items.
5. Can your cello bags be heat sealed?
Yes, if you need to make your cello bags tamper-proof, you can heat seal them and not use self-sealing bags. To do this you can use our heat-sealing machine
to seal your cello bags. However, cellulose cello bags cannot be heat sealed and hence has a stitched seam on both sides of the bag.
6. Are clear cello bags available with a gusset?
Yes. Often customers require a cello bag with a gusset to fill with bulky items.
7. Do you sell Cellulose cello bags?
Yes. Unfortunately, these are hard to find, however, we do have a range in progress.
8. Are cello bags crystal clear?
Yes. Cello bags are crystal clear and premium quality.
9. Are cello bags food safe?
Yes. They are made from food grade material, making them safe to use with food.
10. How many sizes of cello bags do you sell?
We currently have 12 sizes available but will soon have over 20 different sizes with and without self-sealing edges. Sizes range from business cards, hamper bags, A4, A5, A6, DL, and sizes in between. Just look for the size that will best suit your product.
11. How do I work out the dimensions of a self-sealable bag?
Our sizes of resealable bags are quoted without including the seal and peel flap. The actual size of the bag includes the flap e.g. 10cmx12cm + flap.
12. Do your cello bags have any printing on the bag?
No, they are crystal clear. We do not have any printing or branding on our bags. Often, our tear away adhesive protection strip may have our branding on it to help identify the edge of the bag, but nothing will remain on the bag once peeled off.
13. What thickness are your cello bags?
Our cello bags are 48 microns thick for added protection and strength. Other bags in the market are not as thick. The lower the number the thinner the cello. E.g. 30 micron is thinner than 40 microns. Our cello bags are always crystal clear, glossy, light yet thick and strong. However, we can easily make cello bags in a variety of thicknesses.
14. What are your cellophane bags made from?
We use polypropylene cello or technically called BOPP (biaxially oriented polypropylene) which is a plastic.
15. How should you storecello bags?
To preserve to quality of you r cello bags, store them in a dustless, dry place and away from sunlight.
16. Are BOPP cello bags recyclable?
Yes. BOPP cello is considered a “soft plastic” and can be deposited at local recycle points, such as supermarkets, for recycling.
17. Do your self-sealable bags have static?
Occasionally you may find as you pull the proactive seal strip off the cello bag that it has static and is not easy to flick off your hands or clothes. This typically happens if you are packing many items continuously. To help stop the static, try washing your hands and starting the process again.
