Floral Vision 360° Winners: 2015 Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show

For the second year running Koch & Co sponsored a floral design competition at the 2015 Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, in association with Flowers Victoria. Designed to encourage more florists to get involved in the MFIGS, the competition showcased entrants work in front of 100,000 plus visitors and industry insiders. This year’s competition was titled, Floral Vision 360°, with entrants asked to create floral arrangements on plinths suitable for an event, that viewed beautifully from all angles.

Our MD Karl Papas joined Matthew Landers, Greg Milner and Amanda Henderson in judging, and praised the entrants for their unique take on the competition brief and their inventive use of florist sundries, blooms, greenery and decorative materials. Judging was tough! As well as awarding three top prizes, the public was able to vote with visitors picking their favourite display in order to win a flower arrangement delivered to their door every month for six months.

Congratulations to all the entrants. We hope everyone enjoyed taking part in the MFIGS this year – we certainly enjoyed seeing the talent and passion on display.
