Christmas Day is an indulgence for the senses: the taste of rich, rare foods, the sound of carols, the sight of beautiful Christmas decorations and the feeling of gratitude in being able to spend time with friends and family. It’s even better when it’s all accompanied by the familiar scent of home, and the flavours of your favourite foods wafting through it.
Perhaps you have felt the joy of a white Christmas in the Northern Hemisphere but for Australians, Christmas arrives towards the start of the summer holidays. This can make our Christmas home décor quite distinctive from the rest of the world. The warmer weather allows us to incorporate summer trends into our decorative themes when preparing for Santa’s arrival.
Wow! The entries we received for our table decoration competition were so wonderful it was pretty tough going for the judges. The winning entries made it on to everyone’s shortlist for some creative ideas we can’t wait to try, from the striking use of bold colour and candle-lit branches, to a rustic table setting. So, drum roll please… Congratulations to Cora for winning first place of a $100 voucher. Second place of $50 goes to Carla and third place of a $25 voucher goes to Rebecca.
At Koch, we are always looking to inspire our customers but now it’s your turn to share your latest creations. We will be hosting our very first photo contest. Just submit your best photo that features table decorations for your chance to win!
